Michael A. Scodro
Assistant Professor of Law
Professor Scodro is a former clerk for the Honorable Sandra Day O'Connor of the U.S. Supreme Court and the Honorable José A. Cabranes of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit. A graduate of Yale Law School, Professor Scodro was an executive editor of the Yale Law Journal and an articles editor of the Yale Journal of International Law. He earned his B.A. at Dartmouth College, where he majored in government and economics and received the Rockefeller Prize in International Relations. He also studied at the London School of Economics, where he focused on international political economy and Soviet foreign relations.
Professor Scodro comes to IIT Chicago-Kent from the law firm of Mayer Brown Rowe & Maw. At Chicago-Kent, he teaches contracts and securities regulation.
