How did you first become interested in law school?
I read a book when I was 9-10 years old that sparked an interest in civil rights. From then on, I knew I wanted to be an attorney.

Why did you choose Chicago-Kent?
The location, the legal writing program, and the clinical opportunities made it stand out from all the other schools for me.

What do you think prepared you best for law school?
Working hard in undergrad, my work experience, and talking with attorneys and other law students about what to expect.

What have you enjoyed most about your Chicago-Kent experience?
The people I've been able to meet and the great networking opportunities I've been able to take part in.

What advice would you give to someone considering law school?
Pick the location carefully! Choosing the right location and community for you will make a big difference! Also, don’t get caught up in the all the hype and fear of it all—be confident in your abilities and yourself and you'll make it!

What do you like most about Chicago?
All the new things to experience! I've never tried so many different kinds of food and met so many unique individuals before! It's impossible to be bored in this city! I love it!

Where do you plan to practice after graduation?
Chicago, Texas, or possibly Ohio
