How did you first become interested in law school?
When I was researching for a client—they asked why they had to pay a PBGC premium and an hour later I found myself knee deep in statutes and loved it. Yes, I am a nerd.
Why did you choose Chicago-Kent?
Kent has a great alumni network and I felt really comfortable here.
What do you think prepared you best for law school?
Work experience—it has allowed me to evaluate from a common sense and cost benefit perspective
What have you enjoyed most about your Chicago-Kent experience?
Everyone is really very welcoming and caring. All the fears about students stepping on others to get ahead are really quelled here.
What advice would you give to someone considering law school?
You will likely have worries or even doubts, but trust your choice—I would imagine that the first class you sit in will confirm why you are here. Maintain that feeling through the stress and rough times.
What do you like most about Chicago?
There is so much to do here—you can always keep busy.
Where do you plan to practice after graduation?
Chicago
