Students
Meet Caroline Teichner '12, a mechanical and aerospace engineer who knew from a young age that she wanted to practice intellectual property law. Her dream job is to work in-house at Boeing.
Meet Hazel Gumbs '12, who grew up on Anguilla, majored in economics and political science, and earned her master's degree in public policy. Hazel plans to focus her career on public interest law.
Meet Joseph Carlasare '12, a member of IIT Chicago-Kent's trial advocacy team and winner of the national Best Advocate Award in the 2010 Tournament of Champions, sponsored by the National Institute for Trial Advocacy.
Meet Rachel Remke '12, an IIT Chicago-Kent Honors Scholar. She and her teammates took first place in the 2010 National Institute for Trial Advocacy's Tournament of Champions and second place in the 2011 National Trial Competition.
Faculty/Student Teams
For 15 years, Professor Hank Perritt has led initiatives promoting democratization, rule of law and economic development in post-conflict countries. Read about his work in Iraq with Joe Panza '10.
Distinguished Professor Lori Andrews directs the Institute for Science, Law and Technology at IIT Chicago-Kent and leads the ethics and policy initiative at IIT's Center for Diabetes Research and Policy. Read about her work with Sarah Blenner '10 on behalf of children with diabetes.
Professor Ronald Staudt, director of IIT Chicago-Kent's certificate program in public interest law, also directs the law school's Center for Access to Justice & Technology. Read about his work with Orijit Ghoshal '11 on a web-based program that assists low-income, self-represented litigants.
Faculty
Meet Professor Howard Eglit, an expert on law and aging and the author of a three-volume treatise on age discrimination. Professor Eglit's scholarly interests also include employment discrimination, constitutional law and remedies.
Meet Professor Nancy Marder, director of IIT Chicago-Kent's Jury Center and author of the book The Jury Process. Professor Marder, who clerked for U.S. Supreme Court justice John Paul Stevens, teaches courses on civil procedure and on juries, judges and trials.
Meet Distinguished Professor Dan Tarlock, a scholar of land and water usage law as well as environmental law and director of the law school's certificate program in environmental and energy law.
Meet Distinguished Professor Joan Steinman, the author of two recently revised treatises on federal practice and procedure. Professor Steinman teaches courses in civil procedure, complex litigation and appellate courts.

Meet Justina Molzon '85, who came to law school as a pharmacist and a public health professional and now works in international programs for the Food and Drug Administration.
Meet Linda Mastandrea '94, a Paralympic gold and silver medal winner who focuses her legal practice on disability discrimination and hears special education cases for the Illinois State Board of Education.
Meet Ann Cresce '94, general counsel and head of compliance for the Hong Kong Mercantile exchange. A graduate of our evening program, Ann attended law school while working and raising young children.
Meet Symeon K. Davis '97, a Los Angeles-based entertainment attorney whose clients include boxer Manny Pacquiao and singer/dancer Isaiah Pittman V (Ip5).
Meet Steve Harris '81 and Richard Kessler '82, old softball buddies who joined practices in 1995. Steve focuses on corporate law and Rick on litigation.
Meet Dorothy Brown '96, Clerk of the Circuit Court of Cook County. A CPA before becoming a lawyer, Clerk Brown manages a workforce of more than 2,300 employees in one of the word's largest unified court systems.
