Chicago-Kent Honors Scholar

Class of 2001

Ms. Lissner graduated with a B.S. in Psychology from the University of Illinois, in Urbana Champaign. She graduated from IIT Chicago-Kent College of Law with High Honors in 2001.

Ms. Lissner formerly worked at Sonnenschein, Nath and Rosenthal (nka Dentons), where her practice focused on commercial real estate law and she had broad experience in representing developers, landlords, tenants, and lenders in a variety of projects including office, retail, industrial, residential, hotel and student housing developments.

Currently, Ms. Lissner is the General Counsel for Baum Development, LLC, a comprehensive national real estate development company specializing in the acquisition and redevelopment of underutilized properties.  Ms. Lissner is responsible for overseeing all legal aspects of acquisition, disposition, office and retail leasing, financing, equity investments and corporate governance.
