Patrick Bickley

Originally from Ohio, Patrick Bickley graduated summa cum laude from the University of Toledo with a degree in Chemical Engineering. After school, Patrick worked as a materials engineer for a tire company in Ohio, during which time he earned a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Findlay. As a materials engineer, he had the opportunity to travel to both China and Mexico to help set up production processes and train new engineers.
Patrick chose to come to IIT Chicago-Kent to pursue a career in patent law. He spent the summer following his 1L year working as a research assistant in the schools Institute of Science, Law, and Technology, working on litigation dealing with patents on genes related to breast cancer. Patrick is a member of the Chicago-Kent Law Review and currently serves as treasurer of the Intellectual Property Law Society. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and one-year old daughter.
