Rachel Remke received her Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign. She graduated magna cum laude with a double major in Political Science and Psychology. During her undergraduate career, she was involved in university, local, and state politics. She worked as a legislative intern for Representative Sandra Pihos as well as with the Institute of Government and Public Affairs’ NEW Leadership Illinois, a program that helps mentor women interested in public service.

During her first year at IIT Chicago-Kent, Rachel pursued her interest in litigation and was chosen to be a member of the Trial Advocacy Team. She spent the summer following her first year working as an extern for Judge Preston, a law division judge in the Circuit Court of Cook County.  Rachel is also a member of the Chicago-Kent Law Review.

During her second year, Rachel was a member of the team who won the National Institute for Trial Advocacy’s Tournament of Champions trial competition.  She was also a member of the team who finished second in the National Trial Competition.
