Class of 2017
Kelsey Weyhing graduated from the Michigan State University Honor's College with a B.A. in English and Women's Studies. While in undergraduate school, Kelsey competed in Model United Nations conferences throughout the country with the Michigan State University International Relations Organization. She also helped to run a non-profit model United Nations conference for high school students.
During her first year of law school, Kelsey was a 1L Representative for the Society of Women in Law. As a 2L, Kelsey continues to participate in the Society of Women in Law and currently serves as the Vice President. Kelsey is also a member of the Moot Court Honors Society.
Kelsey spent her 1L summer working with the Citizen Advocacy Center. There, she assisted Illinois residents who reported obstacles to civic participation in their local governments. During the fall, she externed with the Honorable Helaine L. Berger in the Domestic Relations Division of the Circuit Court of Cook County. Kelsey's interests include reading, baking, and traveling.
