Chicago-Kent Honors Scholar
Class of 2018
Matthew Griffin graduated with distinction from Stanford University, where he majored in drama and received departmental honors after he wrote a thesis on contemporary performance. Prior to law school, he worked in not-for-profit fundraising, helping higher education, arts, and advocacy organizations achieve their missions through building broad bases of support.
During his time at Chicago-Kent, he has participated in several alumni and development events, including the Today for C-K day of giving. He is a member of the Chicago-Kent Law Review, the Moot Court Honor Society, and several other student organizations. His legal work experiences to date include working in the chambers of a judge on the Seventh Circuit and researching for a Chicago-Kent professor. In summer 2017, he will be working at Schiff Hardin, LLP.
