Class of 2019
Nicole graduated summa cum laude from DePaul University in 2015 with a B.A. in Peace, Justice and Conflict Studies and Sociology. Her interest in creating social change has led her to several legal aid and nonprofit positions, including at the Chicago Innocence Center, Illinois Legal Aid Online, Equip for Equality, and LAF. She is currently pursuing Chicago-Kent’s Labor & Employment Law Certificate with the goal of advocating for low-income workers after she graduates.
As a Chicago-Kent student, Nicole is a Legal Writing I & II Teaching Assistant for Professor Elizabeth De Armond and was a Research Assistant for Professor Bernadette Atuahene. She is also on the Executive Board of the Chicago-Kent National Lawyers Guild and a Notes and Comments Editor for the Chicago-Kent Law Review.
In her free time, Nicole enjoys biking around the city and attending to her Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Koda.
