Class of 2019
Rebecca Quade received a B.A. in Political Science from DePaul University, where she graduated cum laude as a member of DePaul’s Honors Program. While focusing on her pre-law studies at DePaul, Rebecca simultaneously worked as an intern for a plaintiff’s personal injury and criminal defense firm, Fabbrini Law Group, LLC. She eventually became the firm’s law clerk and internship director.
At Chicago-Kent, Rebecca serves as a student representative for both BARBRI and the Society of Women In Law. She worked as a student intern for the Entrepreneurial Law Clinic at the school’s in-house law firm, C-K Law Group. Additionally, Rebecca is a Teaching Assistant for the 1L Legal Writing program. She is also a member of the Moot Court Honor Society, where she earned recognition as Best Oralist, and assisted her team in placing second overall in the Frank A. Schreck Gaming Law Moot Court Competition in Las Vegas, NV as a 2L. Rebecca currently serves as a MCHS coach for the same competition.
While attending Chicago-Kent, Rebecca clerked for SmithAmundsen LLC, working in construction litigation and OSHA compliance law. She most recently clerked for the Dallas, Texas-based firm Gerstle, Minissale and Snelson, LLP, working in areas of law including construction litigation, transactional law, and professional liability. Rebecca will be joining the firm’s Austin, TX office as an associate attorney in fall of 2019.
In her free time, Rebecca enjoys cooking and baking, traveling, and spending time with friends, family, and her miniature dachshund.
