Class of 2019

Tamara graduated with a B.A. in psychology from the University of Kansas. After graduating, she spent several years in Israel where she served in the Israel Defense Forces as a Commander of Basic Training. Prior to law school, Tamara worked as a legal assistant in a boutique intellectual property law firm in Chicago.

As a 1L, Tamara volunteered at the Daley Center’s Self-Help Web Center assisting pro-se litigants and was on the executive board of the American Constitution Society. During her second year, Tamara served as a Judicial Extern for Chief Judge Rubén Castillo in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. Following her second year, Tamara worked as a Summer Associate at Sidley Austin LLP, where she will continue after law school. As a 3L, Tamara works as a PILI Fellow at the Chicago-Kent Entrepreneurial Law Clinic.

Tamara is a member of the Chicago-Kent Law Review and Moot Court Honor Society. In her free time, Tamara enjoys traveling, practicing yoga, and attending farmers markets.
