 Katherine McCollum

Mini-Bio: Katie earned her B.A. in English from the University of Illinois-Springfield. Prior to attending Chicago-Kent, Katie was a legal assistant and is interested in litigation. She currently works at Torshen, Slobig, & Axel, Ltd., and is an Associate Editor on the Journal of Intellectual Property.


 

Michael McGee

Mini-Bio:  Michael is originally from Detroit, Michigan and earned his B.A. in Political Science from Hampton University. Michael was a 2016 PLUS Scholar in Chicago-Kent's Pre-Law Undergraduate Scholars Program. At Chicago-Kent, he is the Vice President of the Black Law Students Association, a Class Representative for the Student Bar Association, and a member of Chicago-Kent's #4 nationally-ranked trial team. Michael is a student in Chicago-Kent's Labor & Employment Certificate Program and is interested in pursuing a career in litigation.

 


 

Jane Morrison

Mini-Bio:  Jane graduated from Iowa State University with a B.A. in Journalism & Mass Communications and International Studies. Prior to attending Chicago-Kent, Jane worked as the Communications Coordinator for a public school district and volunteered as a Court Appointed Special Advocate in Iowa, sparking her interest in law. Jane is a member of several Chicago-Kent organizations and a representative for the Student Bar Association. When she isn’t studying, Jane enjoys solving puzzles in the library and spending time with her toy poodle.

 


 

Elizabeth Orr

Mini-Bio: Elizabeth earned her B.A. at Butler University and her M.P.S. at Cornell University. Originally from Indiana, she now lives in downtown Chicago. She is a member of the Kent Justice Foundation, Women in Law, Justinian Society and the Chicago-Kent Lambdas. She is interested in civil and criminal litigation.


 

Everardo Tapia

Everardo Tapia
Class of: 2019
Division: Day

Mini-Bio: Everardo graduated from Penn State with a degree in Petroleum & Natural Gas Engineering. Prior to attending Chicago-Kent, he practiced across the energy industry as an engineer. Everardo is pursuing a certificate in Intellectual Property Law. He is currently working at Seyfarth Shaw, an international general practice law firm in its IP litigation group. He has also accepted a 2018 summer clerkship with Shook, Hardy & Bacon. In his free time, he enjoys baking, running & cycling.


 

Hubert Zanczak

Hubert Zanczak
Class of: 2019
Division: Day

Mini-Bio: Hubert earned his B.A. in Economics and Finance from North Central College. He lives in Oak Park with his fiancé and his dog, and takes the Green Line to school. Hubert is a board member of the American Constitution Society and the Federalist Society and is the Associate Editor on the Journal of International and Comparative Law. Hubert works part-time at a law firm and is interested in complex litigation and appellate practice.
