Term Start Dates

Transfer Credit Analysis and Registration
Please schedule an appointment, at your earliest convenience, with Associate Dean Stephen Sowle for an evaluation of possible transfer credits and to plan your course schedule. Dean Sowle may be reached at (312) 906-5282 or by e-mail at ssowle@kentlaw.iit.edu.
The extent of transfer credit will be decided on an individual basis based upon review of your law school transcript and credentials report, and review of the specific coursework completed, in order to ensure that your educational experience was sufficient to justify the granting of advanced standing.
After meeting with Dean Sowle, you will need to register online for your classes. Registration information for the upcoming semester is available in the online Registration Quick Guide.
Financial Aid
If you wish to apply for federal student loans, you must complete and submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and a master promissory note (MPN) for each loan type. Information about the financial aid application process is available online. If you have any questions about financial aid, please call the Office of Financial Aid at (312) 906-5180 or visit their website.
