9:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
Law students must not only know the theory of law but also master the practice of law. That's why Chicago-Kent puts an emphasis on gaining real-world experience. Each of the three years of law school provides opportunities that develop your practical legal skills. These range from our renowned three-year legal research and writing program to the C-K Law Group — our in-house, teaching law firm — to the Praxis Certificate Program, which guides you through an experience-based course of study that exposes you to the core competencies required of successful lawyers.
At this open house, you will learn about the extraordinary opportunities available at Chicago-Kent to gain experience in settings where theory and practice intersect. You'll also learn about the law school admissions process and gain insight into how to prepare a strong application. Faculty, students and staff will be available to meet with you during the opening reception. Tours of the law school will be available following the program.
