LL.M. in Taxation

Applicants for admission to the Graduate Program in Taxation may apply at any time, but are encouraged to do so as early as possible. Candidates for admission to the LL.M. Program in Taxation must hold a J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school. In special circumstances, international students may be considered for admission if they hold a J.D., LL.B. or other non-U.S. first law degree. However, international applicants should be aware that the program focuses primarily on U.S. tax law.

Non-Matriculants and Auditors

Students wishing to take one or more courses in the Graduate Program in Taxation without becoming candidates for the LL.M. degree may do so with permission. For the 2018-19 academic year, tuition for non-matriculants and auditors is $1,775 per credit hour.  Students who wish to audit the course should include a written request with the non-matriculant application.

Suggested application deadline:  January 7, 2019

Classes begin:  January 22, 2019

Fall 2019 Semester

Suggested application deadline:  August 1, 2019

Classes begin:  Late August (date TBA)


Tuition and Financial Aid

Tuition and fees for the current academic year are available here. All courses carry two semester hours of credit. Students enrolled in at least six credit hours each semester may be eligible for federally sponsored educational loans.
