Intensive Essay Writing Lab

This seminar will prepare you for the written half of the Uniform Bar Exam (used in Illinois and most other states) and give you the opportunity to begin bar prep work early. It features extensive in-class writing practice using essay questions and performance tests from past bar exams. It will also jump-start your substantive bar study in the eight subjects that are double-tested on the bar exam.

Please note: Students who are in the bottom 15% of their class at the end of their second year are required to take Intensive Essay Writing Lab in order to graduate. Students in the remainder of the bottom 25% are strongly encouraged, but not required, to take this class. The class is pass/fail only. It satisfies the seminar requirement.
