Cost of Attendance Budget
Cost of Attendance Budget
The Department of Education requires that Chicago-Kent College of Law establish and publish a general student budget (also known as the "Cost of Attendance") that is designed to provide students with a modest but realistic standard of living. Your financial aid eligibility is based on this budget. A student's total financial aid package, including scholarships, student loans and any other financial aid resources may not exceed the total Cost of Attendance Budget as determined by the Office of Financial Aid.
Included in the Cost of Attendance Budget are billable and non-billable expenses. Billable expenses are costs that are directly charged to your Chicago-Kent student account. These include tuition and mandatory fees. Non-billable expenses are not payable to the University and include Room & Board, Books, Transportation and Personal Expenses. Each non-billable budget component is the maximum estimated amount based on data we've collected of what a student may spend throughout the 9-month academic year (Fall and Spring semesters). For a monthly breakdown of any budget component amount, please contact the Office of Financial Aid.
The Office of Financial Aid encourages students to borrow wisely.
