(Step 3 of Apply For Financial Aid)
If your Student Aid Report (SAR) indicates that the Department of Education has selected your FAFSA for the review process of Verification you must submit required documents to the Office of Financial Aid.
Students are notified of required verification requirements by a Missing Documentation Notification email and/or paper letter. Students are required to submit all verification documents within 30 days of the first Missing Documentation Notification. If all verification documents are not submitted within the required timeframe, the student will delay or jeopardize his/her financial aid disbursement. Once Verification is finalized, students will be notified by email of any changes to their financial aid package.
Required verification documentation can be found on the myIIT portal in the "Finances" tab from the top menu. Required documents are listed in the "Financial Aid Requirements" channel under the heading "Eligibility Requirements Progress.
