Professor Aleisa teaches Legal Writing 1 and 2 at Chicago-Kent. Before joining the faculty full-time in fall 2018, she taught for a year in the evening division while also working as assistant counsel at the Illinois Bankers Association. From March 2015 through February 2016, she was a staff attorney for the 18th Judicial Circuit Court of Illinois in Wheaton. Professor Aleisa began her legal career as an attorney at the law firm of Hodges, Loizzi, Eisenhammer, Rodick & Kohn LLP in Arlington Heights. Before law school, she founded and ran her own copywriting firm. 

Professor Aleisa graduated cum laude from Chicago-Kent in 2013. During law school, she worked as a teaching assistant for Legal Writing 1 and 2 and was a member of the Chicago-Kent Law Review and the trial advocacy team. She earned her bachelor's degree cum laude from the University of West Florida in 2006. 

Professor Aleisa is a member of the DuPage County Bar Association and the Illinois State Bar Association. She served as the 2017–18 vice chairman of the Chicago Bar Association's Financial Institutions Committee.
