I. J. Berkson Reading Room
The Berkson Reading Room is located on the Library's 10th floor and modeled after traditional reading rooms of the nineteenth century and is named in honor of I.J. Berkson, a distinguished alumnus from the Class of 1918. The open reserve collection in the Reading Room includes current editions of major hornbooks, treatises, and study aids such as Nutshells. Materials in the reserve collection are selected by research librarians to support the Law School's curriculum.
LIR Boardroom
The Library's LIR Boardroom (Room 800) is located on the 8th floor, with an entrance outside the library near the main elevator lobby. Faculty and staff may reserve the Boardroom by contacting the Library Director, Keith Ann Stiverson, via email, kstivers@kentlaw.iit.edu or by phone, (312) 906-5610.
Library Media Room
The Media Room, located on the Library's 8th floor, can seat as many as 6 students. The Media Room has a stereo, a 27" TV, and a DVD/VCR player. In addition, there is a computer for watching lectures and other media on the Internet or to run special software for a class.
New Mothers' Room
The New Mothers' Room is a private room featuring a sink, a table, a power outlet, and a refrigerator. Contact the Service Desk to gain access to the room.
