Chicago-Kent ranks #37 in nation for number of alumni promoted to Big Law partner in 2017

Chicago-Kent College of Law ranks #37 in a just-published list of American law schools with the most alumni promoted last year from associate to partner at the nation’s 100 largest law firms. 

In the National Law Journal article Go-To Law Schools: Associates to Partner, Chicago-Kent ties at #37 with the University of Minnesota and University of Wisconsin law schools, finishing just below University of Southern California and just above Cornell, College of William and Mary, and Cardozo. 

The article, which tracks law firm promotions to partner during 2017, appears as part of the main feature and cover story in the April 1, 2018, edition of the National Law Journal at page 19.

Founded in 1888, Chicago-Kent College of Law is the law school of Illinois Institute of Technology, also known as Illinois Tech, a private, technology-focused, research university offering undergraduate and graduate degrees in engineering, science, architecture, business, design, human sciences, applied technology, and law.
