Honors Scholars Program Application Guidelines

Application deadline: January 25, 2021

Candidates selected as Honors Scholars receive annual law school scholarships of full tuition. These awards have a total value of more than $145,000 over three years. The award also covers the mandatory student activity fee, LRAP fee and UPass fee each term.

Chicago-Kent awards honors scholarships based on academic performance, leadership qualities, and co-curricular activities. Applicants should have an LSAT score of at least 160 (or combined GRE score of approximately 315) and strong undergraduate grades. Candidates selected as finalists for the Honors Scholars Program typically have cumulative undergraduate GPAs of at least 3.50.

Applicants who do not meet these requirements will be considered for other law school scholarship awards. Find more information on other Chicago-Kent scholarship opportunities.
