One of the best ways to learn about a law school is to visit the campus and Chicago-Kent encourages all prospective students to schedule a visit. Use the buttons below to view upcoming dates and register for your visit or call us at (312) 906-5020.
Opportunities to Visit
We offer several opportunities throughout the year including weekly admissions information sessions, law school tours, class visits and open house programs. Descriptions for each visit opportunity appear below. Click the sections below to learn more.
Friday, 10:00 to 11:30 a.m.
The weekly Admissions Information Sessions provide an overview of the J.D. admissions process and an introduction to the law school community. The program includes a brief presentation by a member of the admissions staff, a question and answer session, and a tour of the law school led by either a current student or an admissions staff member. Information sessions are held most Fridays, but sessions may occasionally be canceled due to holidays or other special events at the law school.
Monday and Wednesday, 12:00 to 1:00 p.m.
Tours of the law school are led by either a current law student or member of the admissions staff. Tours last approximately 45 minutes. Sessions may occasionally be canceled due to holidays or other special events at the law school so we recommend that you schedule your visit in advance.
You may also schedule an appointment to speak with an admissions counselor during your visit. Although we do not conduct evaluative interviews as part of the admissions process, our counselors are happy to meet with you to answer your questions about the admissions process and provide general information about the law school. To schedule a counseling appointment, please select this option on the registration form or indicate your interest in an appointment when you call to schedule your visit. If you would like to schedule an appointment with a financial aid counselor, please contact the Office of Financial Aid at email@example.com or (312) 906-5180.
Prospective students may visit first-year day or evening classes throughout the academic year, with the exception of the first and last weeks of the semester. Class visits must be scheduled at least one week in advance.
The Office of Admissions hosts several Open House programs for prospective students during the fall and early winter. All students who are interested in law school are invited to attend. Each event features a reception with faculty and current students, tours of the law school, and a special program for prospective students.
