Chicago-Kent's 2020 On-Campus Interviewing Program will begin on Monday, February 1, 2021. We have specifically not placed an end date on our On-Campus Interview Program to allow employers the flexibility that they need. At this time, we cannot predict whether we will be able to hold interviews on campus at the Conviser Law Center. We are fully prepared to host interviews virtually using Zoom or other video conferencing means. There is a $100.00 registration fee for all private sector employers that interview on campus. An invoice will be sent upon completion of the Formal Recruiting Program. Government and public interest agencies are exempt from this fee.
Every year, Chicago-Kent College of Law hosts employers who wish to interview our students for summer internships, summer associate positions and permanent, post-graduate positions. We welcome all types of employers, including:
- Large, Midsize and Small Firms
- Federal, State and Local Government Agencies
- Not-for-Profit Agencies
- In-house Legal Departments
- Consulting and Accounting Firms

Symplicity: Registration is primarily handled through our online Career Services Manager, Symplicity. If you have a Symplicity account, you can submit your schedule request for the 2021 Winter Recruiting Program here. If you do not yet have a Symplicity account, click here to register for a free account. After filling out a quick registration form on the Symplicity website, you will receive a welcome e-mail message from the Career Services Office with your log-in information. These credentials are required for you to post open positions and fill out your employer profile.
Note: If, after submitting your registration, you receive the message "The email address you entered already exists in the system. Please try again, or, if you have forgotten your password, try using the 'forgot password' function," it means you are already in our Symplicity system. You may also email firstname.lastname@example.org to request a new password.
Online Registration: Please note that it is easiest to register using Symplicity, particularly if you already have a Symplicity account. However, if you prefer to register without using Symplicity, you can register online by clicking the button below. You may also fill out a paper registration form, which you can download here, and submit to Victoria Ryan at email@example.com
Interview selection is handled by our Symplicity online bidding system. Employers may set their hiring criteria, and only students that meet the required hiring criteria may bid for an interview. Chicago-Kent offers employers the opportunity to select all interview candidates from the bids submitted by students. In other words, all interview slots on your schedule will be filled with students you select who meet your stated hiring criteria and have requested an interview with you. We offer this opportunity so that you have sole discretion to interview students you have identified as a good fit for your firm, agency or organization based on their initial application materials. After the interview schedule has been assigned, employers are able to view all students on their interview schedule, and the resumes of all students that bid for an interview but did not receive one (waitlist students). If any employer is interested in adding additional slots to their interview schedule to meet with students on their waitlist, we are happy to assist with this. Furthermore, employers are always welcome to contact students from their waitlist directly to schedule interviews at their offices.
