The Chicago-Kent College of Law Commencement ceremony will be held on Sunday, May 17, 2020, at 2:30 p.m., at The Chicago Theatre, 175 N. State Street, Chicago, IL 60601

Doors open to guests one hour prior to the ceremony.* Please note that if guests arrive early, they will not be allowed to enter the building until this time. Seating is on a first-come, first-served basis (general admission). All children over the age of two will need a ticket to the ceremony.
Theater doors will close 2:20 p.m. Guests who arrive after this time must wait to be seated until graduates and faculty have processed and taken their seats.
*Doors open for those with "Special Assistance" Tickets at 1:15 p.m.
Please note, balloons, signs and any other large items will block the view of audience members and we ask that you do not bring them into the venue.
The ceremony will last approximately 1.5-2 hours.
If you or your guests require special assistance or accessible seating at the commencement ceremony, please contact email@example.com or 312-906-5240 by April 24, 2020, to request special assistance tickets.
Guests who request Special Assistance tickets will receive specially marked tickets that will allow them to enter the building at 1:15 p.m. Seating opens for other guests at 1:30 p.m.
Passengers needing special assistance or who cannot walk long distances can be dropped off immediately outside the venue. There are no stairs that guests will need to take inside the venue. Please note that the venue is not able to provide wheelchairs.
Graduates will not be able to assist guests to their seats.

The Chicago Theatre is located at 175 N. State Street, Chicago, IL 60601. The venue is accessible by both car and public transportation.

Public Transit: From the Red Line ‘L’ train, exit at Lake. From the Brown, Green, Pink, Orange and Purple Line Express elevated lines, exit at State/Lake. From the Blue Line ‘L’, exit at Washington and walk one block east on Washington and one and a half blocks north on State Street. For personalized directions, we suggest using Google Transit or the CTA Trip Planner.
Parking, Dropping-Off and Entering The Chicago Theatre
Dropping-Off Passengers: Passengers needing special assistance or who cannot walk long distances may be dropped off in front of the venue.
Entering the Venue: Each guest entering the venue (except for graduates, Alumni Legacy Hooders and children under the age of 2) must present an official Commencement ticket to the ushers.
