Rob L. Kohen

Rob L. Kohen joined Salvi, Schostok & Pritchard P.C. in 2014 and was promoted to partner in 2023. He focuses his practice in the areas of personal injury, wrongful death, car accidents, truck accidents, bicycle accidents, construction negligence, and medical malpractice. Kohen has obtained a number of noteworthy verdicts and settlements in his time with the firm.

In recognition of his outstanding legal work, Kohen was named to Law Bulletin Media’s 2021 “Forty Under 40” list. He has also been recognized every year since 2021 as a “Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch” honoree and a “Rising Star” by Illinois Super Lawyers every year since 2018. Kohen has also been recognized as an “Emerging Lawyer” by Law Bulletin Media, an honor given to only the top 2% of lawyers in Illinois who are under 40 years old or have practiced 10 years or less.

As a student at Chicago-Kent, Kohen participated in the Trial Advocacy Program. He also earned the CALI Excellence for the Future Award® for achieving the highest grade in an individual class. Since his graduation, Kohen has been an advocate and active member of the Chicago-Kent alumni community. He currently serves on the Alumni Board of Directors and, prior to that, he was a member of the Young Alumni Council. Kohen regularly speaks to current Chicago-Kent students on the topics of medical malpractice and personal injury law.

In his free time, Kohen is a highly accomplished athlete. Currently, he is ranked in the top 5 percent overall as an All-World Ironman Age Group Athlete. Since 2011, he is a six-time Ironman 70.3 finisher, three-time USA Age Group National Championship finisher, two-time Ironman finisher, and two-time marathon finisher.
