American Bar Association Criminal Justice Section William W. Greenhalgh Student Writing Competition
The goal of the Competition is to encourage law students to become involved in the Section. It is also intended to attract students to the Criminal Justice practice field, and to encourage scholarship in this field. Check the link for current topics and deadlines.

The Warren E. Burger Prize
"The American Inns of Court Warren E. Burger Prize is a writing competition designed to promote scholarship in the areas of professionalism, ethics, civility, and excellence."

New York State Bar Association Committee on Animals and the Law: Student Writing Competition
Law students (which include J.D., L.L.M., Ph.D., and S.J.D. candidates), are invited to submit to the Committee on Animals and the Law, an article concerning any area of Animal Law. All submissions will be reviewed by a panel of attorneys and other professionals practicing or otherwise involved in animal law.

Tannenwald Writing Competition
"Papers on any federal or state tax-related topic may be submitted in accordance with the Competition Rules."

Lolly Gasaway Faculty-Student Writing Award
"Submissions must be journal articles authored by at least one student and one faculty member of a member school."
